INNengine

At $6.2 trillion, transportation is one of the largest industries in the world. Every year more powertrains are manufactured than people are born in the planet and yet, not even the experts can agree on what the core, the powertrain of such vehicles will look like 5 or 10 years from now.
INNengine is a Spanish start-up founded in 2011 with the goal of reinventing the 150 year old Otto engine concept to face the new challenges brought by hybrid plug in electrification and Hydrogen e-fuels.
This effort resulted in a revolutionary new multifuel engine which positions INNengine at a unique competitive advantage to license its patented ICE technology to the more than 226 million units/year expected by 2027.
Our goal is to lead the global Net-Zero emissions challenge with a focus on Green Hydrogen developments in aviation and electrified REX mobility.

EIC Accelerator
The EIC Accelerator supports individual Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), in particular Startups and spinout companies to develop and scaleup game-changing innovations. In some cases small mid-caps (up to 500 employees) are supported.
The EIC Accelerator provides substantial financial support with:
- grant funding (non-dilutive) of up to €2.5 million for innovation development costs,
- investments (direct equity investments) of up to €15 million managed by the EIC Fund for scale up and other relevant costs. Companies working on technologies of strategic European interest can apply for EIC investments of more than €15 million.
